Welcome to the beginning of what is hopefully an engaging and long-lasting relationship between us. 


   Hi, I'm Mannifred Quinnzelle but my friends call me Mannie. I decided to start this blog because of an assignment I was given by one of my professors but I truly hope that this will be the start of something great. I've followed blogs on other social media platforms for a long time but I never thought that I would make one because my loud opinions are usually best contained to my circle of friends. But now, I'm gonna flex my writer's muscle and put some of those opinions here for all the world to see until the end of time I guess.

   Some things you should know about me are: my hair is a beautiful shade of ____, I can run in my heels, I use they/them/their pronouns, and I'm actually a drag persona that's taken on a life as something bigger than life itself. Come join me for this adventure won't you?

In pursuit of full transparency, mental illness really did get your bitch and whenever I would try to write something, I'd hate it or just get caught up in trying to write something that I felt was personally worth posting. And so, I'd have a bunch of drafts that never really went anywhere. But on top of that, being home in quarantine for extended periods of time, especially with the family I have, has only made the depressed bitch upstairs more powerful. And with her new strength, she's kind of sucked the fun out of social media for me. So for my own mental health and wellbeing, I decided to be even less of a presence on Instagram than I already was, and just focus on getting through my semester. Corona, Quarantine, and Depression! Oh My!

I know I said I didn't want to be around people but this is not what I meant    Hello party persons, welcome to the first proper post on this party blog.    🎉 🎉 🎉I hope you all are staying safe out there during this pandemic that we are living through. It is not an easy time right now for anyone and it is very easy to lose sight of one's mental health in all the hullaballoo about deteriorating physical health.      Seeing as you don't know me yet; hi there, I have depression. And social anxiety (which I have thankfully worked on enough that it hasn't been a major issue for a little while). There's probably some anxiety anxiety mixed in there too but I think my mental illness sundae already has enough flavors for right now. Needless to say, I am constantly teetering on the edge of a depressive episode and times of high stress like the simulation we're stuck in don't do me much good.
